Steel Magnolia Have The Free "Single of the Week" at iTunes

Each week the team at iTunes selects an up-and-coming artist to feature in their 'Single of the Week' feature and while the choice is sometimes perplexing, this week's choice finds Steel Magnolia as the lucky new act to gain tastemaker approval from Apple. The duo which has been on a whirlwind tour promoting "Keep On Loving You" since they debuted it on the finale of the second season of Can You Duet. The duo also recently made their Grand Ole Opry debut where thay sang this song and a Hank Williams, Sr. classic.

I agree with with George.Todays country is not country.They need to go back to the George Jones, Gene Watson & Vince Watson songs.I will not even listen to this new stuff.Keep going George.

This song currently sits at # 32 on the Mediabase ongoing 24/7 country singles chart and picked up a good number of station adds this week as well. Country radio listeners are responding to this song and it could be a rare debut single that breaks the Top 20. Meghan Linsey seems to over-sing at times, but radio listeners don't seem to mind. I wish them well!
