Single Review: Zac Brown Band - "Keep Me In Mind"

With “Keep Me In Mind,” the Zac Brown Band has kept their winning formula of mixing interesting melodies with Zac’s soaring Tenor vocal singing homespun lyrics. It’s a formula that has had every single of the band’s career hit #1 or #2 with the lone #2 single being “Whatever It Is,” the second single of the band’s career.
What’s most interesting about “Keep Me In Mind” is that they are adding a little of their jam band-like qualities to the song with the mixture of some 70s “yacht rock” on the interlude interwoven with reggae and jangly guitars which is not too far from what the Dave Matthews Band does.
This is a great sounding song and while not as starkly beautiful as “Colder Weather” or “Martin,” the song is downright brilliantly written, performed and produced with the band’s harmonies once again a highlight of the song.

ZBB is the best band out these days. "keep me in mind" is an awesome song!!!!!!!!!! you have not seen great musicians until you have gome to see them live...thier shows are absolutely AMAZING!

Keep me in Mind is one of their best so far. It is very 70's in parts and they mix sounds well. They are unbelievable live and the best news is....there's more to come. Keep making great music guys. It brightens my days.

I think ZBB is the most talented band I've ever heard. Between the lyrics, the voices and talented playing no one can compare. I thought the first Album/CD was great but they out did themselves with the 2nd. The are the truest form of artists in my book.

I think every song of theirs is a hit! Can't wait for "Let it Go" and Martin to hit the radio stations!
