Roughstock's Music Video Madness - A Fan Voted Video Countdown

By: Roughstock Staff

Last Updated: March 18, 2011 10:03 AM

In the spirit of the most exciting and most interactive sporting event in the country, Roughstock has selected sixteen of the hottest music videos currently on the charts and seeded them in a music video countdown.  The seeds were ordered in the order of their Country Aircheck radio chart placement (as of March 10).

How it works:

There are four divisions and two contests in each division through this weekend.  Voting will be counted for each video through this weekend and then the sixteen videos will be pared down to eight winning videos.  The top two videos from each of the four divisions will compete to win their division next weekend. After the voting ends that Sunday, we will pare down the division winners of division 1 and three to compete to for the right to compete in the final contest against the division 2 or 4 winner.  Our final contest will then determine what music video wins 2011’s first annual Music Video Madness presented by Roughstock.

You can win too:

In addition to supporting your favorite music videos from your favorite artists, you will have the chance to enter to win one of five prize packs which feature stuff from EACH of the sixteen artists featured in this contest.  You can enter the contest as much as you want but only after you have voted for your favorite videos (Voting is once per person, per round - to keep it fair).  The five winners will be announced when the winning video is announced in 4 weeks.

Your site gave me only one choice at each division--the one you chose to present--what's up with that?? Sure glad you chose to present me with Randy Montana & "1,000 FACES" that's who I wanted to vote for in his division--but did not have a choice in the others--NO VOTE--sux!

I'd pick "If I Run" by The Harters, in the first spot. There was no circle to check there.

Sam,
We fixed that first one. Some reason it wouldn't show in Internet Explorer but did everywhere else! Happy Voting!

There wasn't a voting spot for the first two videos, "If I Run" and "Look It Up." If I got the chance though, I'd vote for "If I Run."
