Then look no further as we've got the bases covered with our History of Country Music sections.  From Jimmie Rogers to Roy Acuff to the present, we've got it all here. This exhibit looks at some of the influential artists and songs of the late 1920's through the year 2000, era by era. Look around, you'll find artists from Gene Autry, Roy Acuff, Bob Wills, Hank Williams to Patsy Cline, Lefty Frizzell, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks and many others. Thank you for your kind words. This history section is a collaborative effort between many people over the years so we all thank you and hope to bring more information and music and videos to these pages to make them even better, as time goes on.

The info on history of country music was very good, and informative. 4-7-09, by Matt Bjorke. I'm 74 years young and remember my Dad talking about Jimmie Rodgers, Bill Monroe, and the Carter family. I'm a retired country musician, and knew some of the history, Many thanks to Roughstock and Matt Bjorke. Would love to see more on history of this kind. Good Job!!! Jack B.
