Rascal Flatts current single, “Easy,” has been certified Gold from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales exceeding 500,000. Coincidentally, this accolade comes while the single is a "Top 10" hit on both Country radio charts. Pop star Natasha Bedingfield lends her vocals to "Easy," which was written by veteran songwriters Katrina Elam and Mike Mobley. Flatts and Bedingfield have showcased emotional performances of the smash hit on multiple major televised shows, including the 2011 CMA Awards on ABC and the TODAY Show on NBC.

"It's always an honor to have the chance to sing a great song, but it's even more special when people lay down their hard-earned money to buy it. Thanks for making 'Easy' a Gold single for us. We have the best fans in the world!" said Rascal Flatts Jay DeMarcus upon hearing the news.

Rascal Flatts debuted their first album on Big Machine Records, NOTHING LIKE THIS, last November at #1 on the country album sales chart and became one of only four country acts to debut six consecutive studio albums at the top. The album has since reached Platinum status by selling over one million copies in less than a year.

Since their musical debut in 2000, the band has sold 21 million albums and 26 million digital downloads and delivered 13 #1 singles to the top of the chart.

Rascal Flatts is the most awarded country group of the past decade with nearly 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice and more. Since their touring career began, they have sold over 6 million concert tickets.
