Gee, I wonder how Amazon selects albums for this feature and if the labels are involved? Hmmmm... I normally don't purchase download music so I was unaware of this offering from Amazon. The fine quality "download only" debut albums from Jypsi and Carter's Chord should have been featured to encourage more folks to take a chance and give them a listen. I wasn't overly impressed by Randy's album but its well worth a measly $ 2! Yikes!

I check Amazon's special daily deal every morning when I wake up, first thing. I was excited that it was a country release today. I wasn't sure if I wanted the album, but I couldn't resist for $1.99. It's not bad, but perhaps too pop for me. Plus, I really hate it when songs about being country is laiden with electric guitars. It's a pet peeve of mine, I guess.
