To the surprise of many last year, Lady Antebellum defied attaining a ‘sophomore slump’ by releasing a juggernaut single in “Need You Now” and then the album of the same name. As of this article’s writing, Need You Now is still the best-selling country music album of 2010. With “Just A Kiss” now on the charts, the trio of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood is set to release Own The Night on September 13, 2011.

The first big release of the important fourth quarter of the music buying season (a season that includes the holidays), the album is expected to be a brisk seller. Today Lady Antebellum announced the track listing and showcased the cover art (above) for the first time. Once again collaborating with Paul Worley, the band’s really looking forward to the release of the album stating:

"We're definitely more in tune with each other musically and personally than ever," said Haywood. "It's an exciting place to be. This album was created from the ground up—we are writing these songs, playing these instruments and creating these arrangements.  With Own The Night, more than ever before, I think we share a real feeling of accomplishment both as a band and as friends.”

"Our only hope and expectation for this record is that it will build on the first two," adds Charles Kelley.  "At the end of the day, we just want our fans to be able to say that we continue to give them solid albums with solid songs they can enjoy from start to finish."
