From winning a contest as a young teen in Texas to the release of her third album Confessions of a Nice Girl last year, Katie Armiger has literally grown up before the country music world’s eyes and has gone from full of all of the world’s potential to an artist who is reaching that potential with each and every step she makes.  With the recording of this new single, consider Katie Armiger to have arrived.

Written by Rhean Boyer (from Carolina Rain), “I Do, But Do I?” is a charming song full of charming lyrics and a charming percussive melody with an even more charming vocal from Katie.  The lyrics discuss things that have come across every person who has been in a relationship’s mind from time to time. The bluesy sing-a-long melody (just try to get that chorus out of your head after one or two times hearing it), the strong vocal delivery and Katie’s girl-next-door charm all are positives, as is the short sub three minute run-time.

Add everything about “I Do But Do I” up and it looks as if Katie Armiger has finally found the song to be her break-out hit.
