Jamey Johnson - Mowin' Down The Roses

Mixing a Waylon-like lyric with a Memphis country boogie is quite different for today's country and it's a paring that helps set Jamey Johnson apart from the rest of the 'newcomers' currently vying for country music's attention. The song begged for a music video and Jamey and his label Mercury Records delivered quite a beauty. It drives home the lyric and really showcases that country music humor need not be sexually based or sophomoric all the time.
