Faith Hill To Debut New Single on 2011 CMA Awards Telecast
By: Roughstock Staff
With hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood already announced to perform at the 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards alongside stars Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and The Band Perry, word came down today that Faith Hill will be performing on the show. A three-time CMA Award winner (2000’s Female Vocalist of the year, 1998’s Music Video for “This Kiss” and Vocal Event of the Year in 1997 with husband Tim McGraw for “It’s Your Love”), Hill last performed at the event in 2006 and her last appearance on the show was 2009 when she co-presented the Entertainer of the Year award with her husband Tim McGraw.
Faith Hill will debut the lead single from her upcoming Warner Brothers Records album that will be released in early 2012. It’ll be her first all new studio album since 2006’s Fireflies. Between then and now, Hill has spent most of her time raising her children, in addition to releasing a Greatest Hits album and a well-received Christmas Album. She will be touring in Australia with Tim McGraw next year as well.
