For the 20th week in a row, Lady Antebellum reigns supreme on the Nielsen SoundScan Top 200 Albums chart.  While they haven’t topped the Top 200 itself for this entire time, the Capitol Records trio (which has single “Our Kind of Love” out on the radio now) has remained in the pole position of the Top Country Albums chart for the duration.  There were quite a few new releases this week with four of them landing inside the Top 10 of the country albums.  Dierks Bentley’s ‘bluegrass’ project is this week’s second best-seller as the album nearly passed Lady A as the top-seller this week.  Jewel’s sophomore relese, Sweet and Wild moved over 31,000 copies while Zac Brown Band’s Foundation continued to march the album near the 2 million albums scanned mark.   Clay Walker’s latest, She Won’t Be Lonely Long debuts this week as the fifth best-selling country album on the Hot 200 Albums chart this week with nearly 20,000 units scanned.

Miranda Lambert’s Revolution sits in sixth place (dropping on the country tally despite gaining 4 slots on the SoundScan chart).  Carrie Underwood is right behind her with Play On which is in turn followed by Fearless from Taylor Swift.  Lee Brice’s Love Like Crazy debuts at 43 on the over-all chart and at ninth place on the Hot Country Albums tally this week, as the titular tune drove over 10,000 fans to get their hands on the oft-delayed debut album.  Brooks & Dunn’s #1’s…And Then Some is the final album In the Top 10 and it gives nearly 1/5 of the top albums in America to the country genre.

Luke Bryan’s “Rain Is A Good Thing” is inching up the Top 5 of the charts and as he looks to make it his second consecutive #1 hit, the artist’s Doin’ My Thing retains its Top 15 Hot Country Albums slot this week.  The ZBB’s “Pass The Jar” live recording sits behind it while CMA Fan Fest favorite Jason Aldean sits next with Wide Open now over the 1.2 million sold mark with “Crazy Town” very likely displacing “The House That Built Me” as the chart-topping single next week.  Lady A’s self-titled debut sits at 14 on this week’s Top 15 Hot Country Albums chart and it’s followed by the Crazy Heart soundtrack at 15.

The 16 th best selling album this week is Brad Paisley’s American Saturday Night album while Easton Corbin’s  self-titled album jumps up the charts and has moved nearly 170,000 copies.  “Roll With It” looks to be another big hit for the newcomer so look for it to help push this album over the 200,000 in sales marker later this summer.  Chris Young’s The Man I Want To Be is sitting at 99 and it is comfortably over the 300,000 albums sold mark as the artist looks to get a third consecutive single to top the charts.  With “All Over Me” now Top 20, Josh Turner is looking comfortably on his way to another Gold album with Haywire, this week’s 19th best-selling country album on the Nielsen SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart.  Wynonna Judd’s Love Heals, a Cracker Barrel exclusive, rounds out the Top 20 this week.

In the new and noteworthy section of our chart breakdown, we find Broadway turned country star Laura Bell Bundy’s fun Achin’ & Shakin’ album firmly sitting near 75,000 albums sold as she gets ready to launch her second single to radio after the Top 35 hit “Giddy On Up.”  Keith Urban experienced a sales boost from the CMT Music Awards as his album Defying Gravity did just that by jumping 21 slots on the charts to get him closer and closer to the Platinum mark as “I’m In” from the album is now Top 10 after only seven weeks on the singles chart.  It’s the newest song in the Top 20.  In comparison, Lee Brice’s Top 13 hit “Love Like Crazy” has been on the charts for a  remarkable 43 weeks, Gretchen Wilson’s been on for 33 weeks with “Work Hard, Play Harder” while Jaron’s “Pray For You” has been on for 29.

Gary Allan’s “Get Off On The Pain” is enjoying a nice run back up the charts thanks to the Top 25 hit success of the title tune while Toby Keith’s CMT Music Awards performance helped American Ride soar into the Hot 200 Albums chart.  The album has sold nearly 400,000 copies while Danny Gokey’s My Best Days rounds out the chart-rundown this week as the American Idol season 8 contestant sits with over 150,000 albums scanned, right as his next single “I Will Not Say Goodbye” gets ready to go for radio adds.
