Craig Campbell - "Fish"
By: Matt Bjorke

Craig Campbell gained immediate traction on the country radio charts with “Family Man,” a song with mostly great lyrics about a man working to make ends meet in order to provide for his family. Rather than return to country radio with another ‘economic ills’ type of song, Craig has hit radio with the playful romp “Fish.”
Co-written by Arlos Smith, Ashe Underwood and Craig Campbell, “Fish” is the kind of little ditty that scored neo-traditionalists hit after hit in the 1990s and while not deep, the song is pure fun. Yes, the lyrics do use “fishing” as a metaphor for adult ‘fun,’ but why not sing about such a fun activity to do (keep your mind out of the gutter).
“Fish” may not be deep or anything of that sort but it is perfect for summer time playlists and that ultimately makes it a successful single.

I can't stand this song. I really don't think it does justice to Craig's talents.
