Luke Bryan Dominates Album Radio Charts, Has Best-Selling Country Album of the Year, third best of all genres, and most since 2004’s Live Like You’re Dying album.

With Crash My Party, Luke Bryan sets a new personal sales record and the most album sales for a country singer not named Taylor Swift in 9 years, when Tim McGraw sold over 700,000 copies of Live Like You Were Dying. The sales are also third-best behind Justin Timberlake’s 980k for 20/20 Experience and Jay-Z-s Magna Carta...Holy Grail’s 528,000, which was less than 1,000 units more than Luke Bryan. It’s one of three albums from Luke in the Top 10 this week. Florida Georgia Line’s Here’s To The Good Times has scanned Platinum -- although certified for the figure last month -- with sales of 1.002 million units sold. The #3 album is Blake Shelton’s Based On A True Story… Luke’s previous album, the double platinum album Tailgates & Tanlines gained 72% for the sales increase. Bringing sales to 2.102 million albums sold. Rounding out the Top 5 is Hunter Hayes RIAA-certified Platinum album Hunter Hayes (Encore). The album has scanned 945k to date.

Jason Aldean Leads #6-10 with Luke Bryan-aided boost.

Jason Aldean’s Night Train is up 37% over last week with 1.386 million now sold. Last week’s #2 album Brett Eldredge’s Bring You Back has moved 32,000 copies in two weeks. Meanwhile Darius Rucker’s True Believers is up to 322k sold totals. Sales were also helped by CMA Music Festival’s annual music show this week, which is partially the reason for all the sales boots, along with Luke Bryan’s albums, the third of which, Spring Break...Here To Party is at #9. the album has now moved 491k. Finally, Taylor Swift’s RED has sold 3.783 million copies and lands at #10.

With a sales increase of 61% Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away leads our notable album section 1.516 million copies in total sales to date. Little Big Town’s Tornado is next with sales increase of 67% and has sold over 962k to date. Lady Antebellum’s Golden has surpassed 400k records sold and sits right at #50.
