The Band Perry debuts at #1 on the Top 10 Country Current Country Albums chart this week with Pioneer, selling nearly 130,000 albums, which more than doubles the band’s previous best week when The Band Perry was released in 2011. Gretchen Wilson, Justin Moore and BJ Thomas also debut with new projects.

For the first time in their career the Band Perry have scored the best-selling Country Music album in the USA with Pioneer debuting in the pole position on the chart. It features “DONE.” and “Better Dig Two” among its tracks. Last week’s #1 album Based On A True Story... from Blake Shelton settles into #2 this week and the Opry star has now sold nearly 300,000 copies in just two weeks on the charts. Florida Georgia Line are up to #3 this week with sales quickly approaching the Gold mark. Here's To The Good Times is already certified Gold and if the hits keep happening from this album, it will certainly hit Platinum. The #4 album this week is Alan Jackson’s Precious Memories II album, a collection of traditional Gospel Hymns sung in a conversational traditional style. Finally, the Top 5 is rounded out by Luke Bryan’s 310k-selling (so far) Spring Break...Here To Party collection.

Kacey Musgraves, Thompson Square Lead Top 10 this week

Kacey Musgraves conitnues to inspire fans to purchase her critically-acclaimed Mercury Nashville debut Same Trailer Different Park. The 18,000 fans who purchased it helped the singer have her first weekly sales gain in its three weeks on the charts and has now moved 79,000 albums in that time. Eric Church’s ACM-winning Album of the Year Chief moves 15,000 more copies but will see a drastic boost in next week’s chart (as Country fans still buy CDs more than digital albums). Sitting at #8 this wek is Taylor Swit’s 3.6 million selling Red. Thompson Square's Just Feels Good falls from #4 to #9 this week in their second week on the chart with sales totals surpassing 50,000 in those two weeks. Finally, Luke Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines remains at #10 this week with sales now about 8-10 weeks away from two million scanned (it’s already certified Double Platinum by the RIAA).

Gretchen Wilson, Justin Moore and BJ Thomas Debut New Albums (or EPs) on this week’s chart rundown.

Hunter Hayes begins the chart rundown this week with Hunter Hayes sitting just outside the Top 10. Total sales for the Atlantic Nashville album now sit at 724,000. Right behind him in our rundown is Tornado from Little Big Town. The ACM Top Vocal Group has now sold 821,000 copies of their superstar-making album.  Gretchen Wilson’s Right On Time debuts with 5,000 sold (without the benefit of a big radio hit) while Justin Moore’s new Walmart-exclusive EP Point At You (featuring the new title track and 4 #1 hits from his previous two albums) scanned an impressive 3,000 copies. Finally, this week’s rundown concludes with BJ Thomas’ The Living Room Sessions album selling nearly 2,000 copies in its first week on the charts (and its the first album from Wrinkled Records to hit the charts).

Next week will see the chart debut from Brad Paisley with his latest album Wheelhouse.
