CMA Fest Wrap-Up: Day One Diary

Festival sponsor Chevrolet sent our reporter to the event this year to share the experience with Roughstock readers who weren't able to make it to Nashville.

Entry #1 - Daytime
At the Nashville Convention Center, you can dress up with a race car-driver suit, sun glasses and wig and step in front of a Chevrolet Sonic for a really cool photo! Or check out the autograph line in the Convention Center at #ChevyCMA with up and coming artists like James Wesley and Randy Montana. It's a fun time at the festival, and especially at the #Chevrolet and #Roughstock booths.

Entry #2
The Randy Rogers Band claims fans all over the Great State of Texas. It's about time the rest of the nation knew about him. And that will happen soon because Randy & The Boys performed at the #Chevrolet Riverfront Stage at #ChevyCMA. They rocked the show, while staying true to their Lone Star roots. And here's more proof that Randy's a winner -- he sported a #31 #Jason Terry Jersey. He's a big #Dallas Mavericks fan, and now, his team is one win away from its first #NBA Championship. They performed their new single, "Interstate," along with RRB classics like "Kiss Me In The Dark" and "This Time Around"

Ashton Shepherd stays true to her Alabama country roots, and she always has time for her fans. Shepherd signed autographs and took photos with fans at the Carl Black #Chevrolet booth on Thursday afternoon at #ChevyCMA. Will her new album be better than her debut? That's a tough task to achieve, but I think Shepherd is more than capable of it. She is carrying the torch for traditional country music, and she's definitely a #Chevrolet Girl, too :)

Entry #4 - Nighttime
Brad Paisley is The Man. Not only is he one of the most talented artists in country music, he's one of the nicest. I met one of his high school classmates on Thursday night at #ChevyCMA. And the coolest thing about this guy is that he recognizes a good car when he sees one. He was sporting a #Chevrolet T-Shirt at the #ChevyCMA LP Field show, where he was the headliner. And then there's "Mud On The Tires" where he's holding the keys to a brand new #Chevrolet. And talking about a test drive. Speaking of a test drive, you can take one, too, at the #ChevyCMA Sports Zone. Enjoy!
