Great list - glad to see Skip Ewing there - but I would add John Berry's "My Heart is Bethlehem" from his 2000 cd of the same name. The song was solely written by Michael Peterson who had some hits in the 90's including "From Here to Eternity".

This one is likely to be revived yearly.

Wow, Matt, this is the oldest thread I've seen you revive in awhile! You forgot to add "Merry Swiftmas" and "Rockin The Cheer Gut" to the list to keep it up to date this year. I still contend Amber Dotson's version of "Blue Christmas" is the best you'll find, although the Johnny Cash version comes close...

I'm not a big fan of Christmas music, but I do like the song about Mr. Grinch! (lol) I do highly recommend the purchase of the country artist compilation CD "Christmas Angels" (Capitol Nashville, 2005) which starts off with Amber Dotson's version of "Blue Christmas" and is full of fine songs. Used copies start at just 50 cents on Amazon (plus shipping of course) and its a keeper. If a Grinch like me likes it, it must be good! (lol)

IT will continue to grow as the season goes on too. Also, FYI...That picture is one I took myself on the Tues before Thanksgiving while visiting NY state.
