For the third week in a row, Lady Antebellum holds the best-selling country album in America. This will likely change next week as Scotty McCreery debuts with Clear As Day and is followed a week later by Martina McBride 11, Laruen Alaina’s Wildflower and Hunter Hayes’ eponymous debut album.  Anyway, as usual we have corralled the Top 20 country albums as compiled by SoundScan and will share some highlights from the chart below.

• Own The Night is officially Gold with sales over 547,000 copies in just 3 weeks.
• My Kinda Party from Jason Aldean still is in the Top 5 of the chart.
• Halfway To Heaven  has sold nearly a quarter of a million copies for Brantley Gilbert
• George Strait has sold nearly 180,000 copies of Here For A Good Time.
• Luke Bryan is fast approaching 350,000 copies sold for Tailgates & Tanlines.
• Eric Church has now sold nearly 370,000 copies of Chief.
• LeAnn Rimes debuts with the Vince Gill-produced mostly covers album Lady & Gentlemen. The album features many interpretations of classic ‘gentlemen’ affiliated country songs and a couple of new tracks like “Crazy Women” and current single “Give.”
• The Band Perry have sold 780,000 copies of their debut The Band Perry while having “If I Die Young” and “All Your Life” in the Top 100 selling digital singles this week.
• Zac Brown Band’s You Get What You Give has now sold 1.2 million copies.
• Pistol Annies’s Hell On Heels has sold 100,000 copies without any real radio support.
• Justin Moore has now sold over a quarter of a million albums with “Bait A Hook” looking like a sure-fire Top 10 follow-up hit to #1 “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.”
• Brad Paisley will officially scan Gold sometime this week with This Is Country Music. New single “Camouflage” was just sent to radio.
• The Oak Ridge Boys’ It’s Only Natural has sold 12,000 copies in two weeks.
• The Jayhawks’ Mockingbird Time has sold 16,000 copies in two weeks.
• Eli Young Band’s Life At Best has sold nearly 90,000 copies, a number that’s sure to rise as they release more hits off of the quality album (“Crazy Girl” is nearly platinum as a single).
• Chris Young’s Neon has sold nearly 200,000 copies.
• Rascal Flatts’ Nothing Like This will pass the 1,000,000 scanned mark sometime this holiday shopping season (as “Easy” with Natasha Bedingfield runs up country/AC charts).
• The Footloose Original Sountrack from the film debuted with nearly 4,000 copies sold and as the good buzz for the film rises, the soundtrack is sure to do better, particularly with how the songs stay mostly true to the originals from the movie.
• The Civil Wars Barton Hollow has now sold over 184,000 copies and like Rascal Flatts, the duo will see sales increase as the holiday season approaches. They’re also nominated for a Best Vocal Duo award at the CMA Awards which will be handed out in a month.
• Ronnie Dunn’s self-titled album ends our rundown this week with nearly 150,000 copies sold. Current single “Cost Of Livin’” is doing remarkably well at country radio and is getting people interested enough to also make it one of the 100 best selling digital singles of the week.
