Breaking News: Justin Moore Defends His Rights & His Family on Twitter

Sometime yesterday up and coming, two time chart-topper Justin Moore seemingly got in a little spat through his twitter (www.twitter.com/JustinColeMoore) over hunting and his family.

It all started when the outdoorsman singer tweeted “Thanks Montana for a great show, listenin’ to Bocephus on the bus. Gonna try and kill an elk here tomorrow.”

One follower/fan took issue with the last line of Justin’s tweet saying: “Hope that right before u shoot it, u look right in its eyes and se ur kids and think if that was them.”

Moore took issue with the line about his kids and replied, “An Animal ain’t the same as my kid to me. You?” and later tweeted, “Also, if you don’t wanna offend me, don’t EVER mention my kids in that way…Ever. Pretty ignorant statement on your part."

The heated exchange escalated from there with over 40 tweets exchanged between Justin Moore and the follower/fan, Jason Tate (username “Tatersauce”).

At one point they got down to ‘brass taxes’ with Tate taking a shot at something many fans think about artists, that they’re all rich, and called him both a hillbilly and an idiot. (See both the post and Justin’s responses below:

The exchange ended with Moore showing courtesy to “Tatersauce,” a stance some other frustrated artists may not have been so inclined to do.

What do you think of this exchange and how Justin Moore handled himself?

(note: you can read the whole exchange at our friend, radio station WYRK’s website).

Justin earns every penny he makes owes no apologies for it and should not worry about class envy jealousy. Can't wait to see Justin on stage again! One more thing. Shoot the elk between the eyes and spit some Beachnut in a nuts eye cause a "country boy can survive".
