2010 saw Blake Shelton join artists like Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson as one of the rare modern artists to release three albums in one calendar year.  Riding that success, Blake joined the Grand Ole Opry, scored multiple #1 hit singles ("Hillbilly Bone" and "All About Tonight" among 'em) and became the 2010 CMA Male Vocalist of the year.

With his appointment as one of the 'advisor/judges' of the new NBC program The Voice and fresh off a stint co-hosting the ACM Awards, Blake certainly is set to have 2011 be an even more remarkable year. Now with "Honey Bee" scoring on the charts, Blake just announced July 12, 2011 as the release date of his new album, a recording which features "Honey Bee" among other cuts.

"There are so many things I’m excited to share with everyone this year,” said Shelton. “I can’t wait for people to hear the record; I have found some of the best songs of my career. I also think people will be surprised at all the talent they will see on ‘The Voice.’ There were so many great vocalists who just blew me away and it has been the coolest thing to be part of it all.”
