Based upon a listen through of "Drown" there are three questions I would like to ask Megan: 1.) Why do you consider yourself a country artist when everything about "Drown" is purely pop-rock?, which leads to question # 2.) Do you know who Merle Haggard is?, and finally 3.) Since you are from Lawrence, Kansas do you know Sarah Buxton? Well, that's it!

So Megan, is there someone in your personal life that inspires you to sing or is in your corner no matter what?

Music is an extremely stressful industry. I always find it interesting to understand what drives a musician to be involved in a such a public life. Is it fame, money, etc...? What are your main inspirations that keep you going?

Question for Megan: What was your inspiration(s) for the song Drown that recently came out? Do the lyrics of the song mean anything more than just words that sound good together?
