This Year's Grammy Performances featured quite a few country, roots and americana (or related) artists with Taylor Swift, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes, Zac Brown, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood performing. The roots artists like The Lumineers and Mumford And Sons were well represented too.

As far as the awards went, in the Country crowd, it was Carrie Underwood's night as her song "Blown Away" took home the "Best Country Solo Performance (Male or Female)" award while the song also took home the Best Country Song award (given to writers Josh Kear & Chris Tompkins).  The Best Country Album award was given to Zac Brown Band for their brilliant Uncaged album while Little Big Town took home their first ever Grammy for Best Duo/Group Performance for "Pontoon," the quartet's big break-out hit.
