Here's a new song from Shelly Fairchild. It is from the benefit album "We Are Enterprise" which was made to support the rebuilding of Enterprise, AL High School. Shelly has signed with Stroudavarious Records and is recording a new album to be released sometime in 2009. When this single becomes available on December 16th, please support the effort and buy it (and the whole album).

HOLY CRAP! It sounds like Shelly has been a diligent student at the Aretha Franklin school of tasteful vocal styling since recording her "Ride" album! I'm so glad to hear Shelly has been signed by Stroudavarius and I'd love to hear her record her "dream album" in an unfetterd fashion. Even though many of the songs on "Ride" rocked to hard for my tastes, Shelly's bluesy, soulful voice is enthralling. Its too bad AirHead Country Radio never got a chance to air a superb song like "I'm Going Back" as a single, but they probably would have ignored it anyway as being too different...
