I just heard this song driving home today and I cried because so many times people are just wondering if anyone cares whether they exist or not, I know I've felt that way. some of y'all have posted that others should have sang this song. i highly disagree. no one popular now could pull it off. the meaning wouldn't be as great hearing it come from someone on the scene already. the song is written from the heart and i believe his voice shows that. the song hits home and sends a powerful message.

I got to see Matt at the Grande ole Opry last night and he rocked the house, he has an amazing voice and wow, he is super HOT!!! With looks and a voice like that I'm sure that he will stick around in Country music!!! All I can say is he is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!

I think it's pathetic all of the people on this site critisizing matt's vocals. Everyone critisized willie nelson and others with a different sound. I bet he's laughing now. Matt is an amazing artist and wrote the song from the heart and sang it from the heart. He's got a different sound but anyone who respects what country music is all about respects the artist who wrote it and sang it without picking it apart. Country music isn't about picking apart the vocals...it's the feeling you get when you hear a song and the way you relate to the artist who WROTE IT. I would like to see all the people on here saying bad things about it write anything with as much depth and heart. It's going to the top and so is matt. LOVE IT.

Matt Kennon is an original voice - Like him or hate him you cannot say he sounds like anyone else. We have so many singers that sound alike these days because they are copying the "trends" - Here's a guy who doesn't sound like the others so if course there are going to be people who criticize him. The TRUTH is they said the same things about Willie Nelson and Johny Cash. The fact that he wrote this song lends credibility to his performance. I think this is a special song that will speak to a lot of people facing these kinds of situations. So I give him a BIG thumbs up and look for more to come from this talented newcomer.

I like the song, but as for the song itself, it'd sound better with Blake Shelton/Rodney Atkins/Darryl Worley singing it. It'd be nice if one of them covered it. Especially one of the first two. This guy's voice is good though. And the song's great. The hook sounds like something you'd hear from Rodney Atkins, especially the "I'm glad you called" part.
