Hhhmmmm. Mac has been a recording artist since 1977. Talent is talent. The buying public is, and always will be fickle. I for one am always happy to hear good music. Mac know how to write it and sing it. Let's give the buying public another chance to "discover" him.

This is really a nice song that will likely get absolutely nowhere on Top 40 country radio. Where are the pounding drums, wailing electric guitars, and 80's style pop vocals that are en vogue in mainstream country radio these days? Beautiful, folky acoustic ballads just don't fit the format these days unless you are already an established superstar. Its crazy for Toby Keith to think that just because Mac had a part on a Kenny Cheney hit single that Mac will do well solo in this marketplace! Mac will join the growing roster of Show Dog artists all of which haven't yet made a real dent on the country charts, with my favorites being Carter's Chord and Trailer Choir. Oh well....
