Ooops, me bad. I wasn't paying that close of attention to what the judges were saying. I may not care for Jack's music but he put me onto The Woodys when he was guest hosting GAC's "Edge of Country" once, so I'll always be grateful to him for that.....

What Jack said was,"JC and One Night Rodeo might have the best chance in winning this competition but i would rather wait and buy Lane Tuners CD and listen to it in my car". Jack does dig Lane Turner!! Also he said Lane reminds him of Chris LeDoux, Hal Ketchum and George Strait rolled into one!! Hello!!!!

Of all the Lane Turner songs I've been able to collect off advance album CDs and songwriter demo CDs, this is probably my least favorite just because it rocks out more than any of the others. On the other hand its still an okay song but I just prefer his traditional style material. Lane's unreleased "Right On Time" album is just full of top notch songs and its a shame it never saw the light of day. I'm sure Lane is crushed that his second chance at a big break got snuffed tonight but at least Desmond Child and Victoria Shaw recognized Lane's talent. I can't stand Jack Ingram's music in the slightest, so I'm not surprised Jack didn't care for Lane's music.....
