Listen to this debut single from Texan Jody Booth.  It's from his upcoming album.  Booth co-wrote Roger Creager's texas hit "I Love Being Lonesome."

This is a top notch honky tonk anthem of the type that Texan's still love and most Top 40 country stations won't play because its "too country". If George Strait, or Tim McGraw, or Toby Keith, or even Blake Shelton recorded this song and released it as a single, it would likely go to # 1 BUT new artists aren't allowed this freedom to be "real country". I do predict this song will do very well on the Texas Regional Chart even despite its roots rock "Red Dirt" orientation. PS - Jody is just not a manly enough name for a Texas cowboy! Joad would be so much more distinctive! (lol)
