Finally this song hits the states! I've been listening to the clip of "That Kind of Beautiful" on their website for about a year now, waiting for their album to be released to the U.S. It's by far my favorite song by the group, but their new album will definitely offer up some more favorites too (Believe, That Was Us). I'm just so happy for this new single and their new record label!

I think this is a great song and a great choice for their next single. I've been following these guys for 10 years so I've been lucky enough to hear alot of great stuff from them that the casual listener might not have heard. I have not always agreed with their choice of singles, but this one is definitely a good choice! What girl doesn't want to hear a song like this one? It's a nice upbeat, catchy tune, but also has great lyrics that get stuck in your head. Can't wait to hear this one on the radio!!

I have been following Emerson Drive for 3 years and this song is a great song-but you really do have to hear it live-it is so upbeat and fun to listen to. One of my favorite songs of theirs. Moments was a great song for them but they have so many others-give this song a chance you won't be disappointed.

As someone who has been lucky enough to see this song performed live over the past two years, I can tell you that the song has a magic to it live that everyone should experience. What stands out to me about Emerson Drive is the pure talent and musicality each of these guys possesses. There is a reason that David Pichette, Dale Wallace, Mike Melancon, and Danick Dupelle have all been nominated for CCMA All Star Band (and the 3 former have won) -- they are just that good! And if you listen to the instruments on the song, you can hear the talent and the unique styles of each of them. The song is upbeat and something their target demographic -- females -- are bound to love. This is a song that will just make you feel good. Emerson Drive has had a lot of bad breaks in their career. They have been the victim of not one but two label closings. The second one happened despite the #1 success of Moments. A lot of people want to compare everything this band does to Moments. That is hardly fair if you ask me. Moments was a brilliant song and a meaningful ballad, but every song they do will not be that type of material. They are not a one-trick pony. Moments was a great song, but this one is equally great in its own way. The song goes to radio August 16, and I really hope radio will give it its due. The song is just as good if not better than anything in the top 20 right now.

I have been following Emerson Drive for about 10 years now and this is one of my favorite songs by them! It is upbeat and fun and, talks about something i'm sure we've all experienced. The song is about how something beautiful can just stop us dead in our tracks and can be so beautiful, it takes our breath away.

Bob, Sadly their record label couldn't really gain the momentum from "Moments" to sustain them, and later became another smaller label casualty.

The song's ok. If I heard it on the radio, I wouldn't switch the station. After the great "Moments" (kudos to writers Dave Berg and Sam and Annie Tate), I thought Emerson Drive's career would really take off. Obviously I was wrong. I like their sound but I haven't really liked their material.
