Here's one of Boy Howdy's two hits from the mid 1990's.  This one still receives some recurrent airplay now and again.  Jeffrey Steele was the bassist and front man for this california country band.  He's gone on to write multiple #1 hits for artists like Montgomery Gentry, Collin Raye and Rascal Flatts.

This became an R&B hit too, by a guy who renamed it "I'd Give Anything."

It's a shame Jeff's solo career never took off. He's puts on a killer show, and he sings his songs with a passion that no other artist ever really comes close to. I know his songs have gone #1 with other artists, but if you've ever heard Jeff's versions you'll think the artists versions are merely lukewarm.
