Great Song! I had heard this song many years ago when it first came on the radio. I had only heard it a few times and never remembered the name or the artist. I had been searching for it now for the past 15 years and I am so glad I had found it. It's a song that should be played every day so that people thinks about what it means to drink and drive. I think this is one of the most meaningful songs out there. Keep writing songs and thanks for this one.

I am trying to locate Billy Yates. I have a summer place in Hunter, Mo and I was wondering if Billy recorded demos in his studio for songwriters. I live in Kennett, Mo.

Goodness this song is a tear jerker! I think it is so wonderfully written and Billy Yates knows how to get to the listener with this one! While it is profoundly sad, I absolutely love it. And yes, Chris Young did a magnificent job with his version of it on his debut CD. Classic Billy Yates <3
