Jeremy McComb may be new on the Country music scene but that doesn't mean that he cannot select great tunes.  His ear for great material has garnered him a second entrant into Roughstock's Top 40 Country Singles of 2008 countdown. 

Like any year, 2008 saw it's fair share of newcomers.  Jeremy McComb was one of the most promising newcomers and this single is proof of both his talent and ear for great songs.

Many songs that get released to country radio of late have a 'sameness' to them that has the listener not knowing who they're listening to.  "Cold" is a song that's not like that.  It features an interesting lyric and melody.  But will it be enough to make the song a hit?
